01 — The idea
Some watches are meant to be seen
Most steel watches play it safe: black, grey, silver. They go with everything because they say nothing.
The Red does the opposite on purpose. Two strong colours on the bezel, one on the hand, and a plain black dial in between so the colour has somewhere to stand out. It's a watch people ask about.
02 — Design
Colour where it does a job
All the colour sits on the parts that tell the second time zone: the two-colour 24-hour bezel and the red GMT hand. Red on black is the strongest contrast on the dial, so the hand you check while travelling is the easiest one to find.
Everything else is restrained: large white-filled indices, a date window at 3 o'clock and a black dial with nothing extra on it.
The case and three-link bracelet are 316L stainless steel, with the crown at 3 o'clock.
03 — Build
Under the colour, a working movement
Turn it over and the caseback shows the automatic movement and its rotor. The rotor winds the watch as you wear it, so there's no battery to replace.
The supplier lists the movement as a Pearl DG5833 automatic GMT with a power reserve of around 48 hours, under a sapphire crystal. The bracelet closes on a fold-over steel clasp.

05 — The colour
What the red and the blue mean
The colours aren't random. Red marks the daytime half of the 24-hour bezel, from 6 to 18. Blue marks the night, from 18 to 6. Where the red GMT hand points tells you if it's day or night in your second zone, and the number gives you the hour.
The main hands keep local time as usual.

More than a coloured bezel

Is it too loud for the office?
That depends on your office. It is a bright watch and it will get noticed. If you need something that disappears under a cuff, the Pantheon Black is the better choice. If you want a watch with personality, this is it.
Will the bracelet fit my wrist?
We haven't published the bracelet length or lug width because we don't yet have a measured figure we can stand behind. If you need it before ordering, contact us.
Can I take it in the sea?
The dial and caseback are marked 10 bar / 100 m, which covers swimming. It is not a certified dive watch, so don't take it diving. Push the crown fully home before it meets water, and rinse it in fresh water after salt water.
