01 — The idea
A watch that runs on you
A quartz watch needs a new battery every few years. An automatic doesn't need one at all.
Its movement is wound by the natural motion of your wrist while you wear it. Leave it off for a while and it stops; put it back on, or wind it by the crown, and it starts again.
02 — Design
A classic dress dial
The dial keeps it simple: slim baton markers, sword hands and a date window at 3 o'clock, with "Automatic" printed below the centre.
On the black dial, the hands and markers are silver. On the white dial, they are blue.
The polished round case runs into a link bracelet with brushed and polished surfaces.

Self-winding, with a crown backup
The supplier lists the movement as automatic self-winding with manual winding. The case is alloy, 15 mm thick, under a coated glass crystal. The bracelet is stainless steel, 22.5 cm long, with a bracelet clasp.

Will it stop if I don't wear it?
Yes. An automatic is powered by your movement, so after some time off the wrist it stops. Wind it a few turns by the crown or wear it to restart, then reset the time and date.
Is it as accurate as quartz?
No mechanical watch is. An automatic gains or loses a little each day, which is normal. If you need to-the-second accuracy, a quartz watch is the better choice.
Is it thick?
At 15 mm, yes, for a dress watch. That depth is common for automatic movements, and it may not slide under a tight shirt cuff.
